Storefront Duo was photographed on a narrow side street in Anstruther, Scotland. I almost missed it. I was walking with friends, started to turn a corner, and happened to look back over my shoulder. There they were — two dress forms sitting quietly in the window of what appeared to be a vacant storefront. I was immediately taken by them, almost like they were silent witnesses to the street, watching whoever happened to pass by. I still wonder how long they had been there, and what they were once used for. I’ll never know, but I hope they’re happy together.
