Small Acts of Care was photographed at the Roman Theatre of Gubbio, inside the Archaeological Park. The ruins themselves are ancient and dramatic, but what stayed with me was this older gentleman moving slowly through the site, picking up bits of debris as he found them. He seemed to be there on his own, carrying a small bag with whatever he had collected. It was such a quiet, purposeful act — not grand, not official, just someone taking the time to care for a place. Framed by the archway, the moment felt both ordinary and deeply human.
